Monthly Trail & Ale Adventure: Salmon River Trail Every 3rd Saturday of the Month Salmon River Trail -- January 13th Join our inclusive outdoor community for a refreshing morning hike along the scenic Salmon Creek Trail, followed by lunch and craft beers in Hood River! This is a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ hikers and allies of all experience levels. Trail Details: Beautiful out-and-back trail (flexible distance, typically 5 miles total) Gentle elevation gain through ancient forest Dog-friendly (must be leashed) Trail features: Old-growth forest, river views, salmon spawning in season Typically takes 2.5-3 hours at a social pace Meeting Point & Schedule: 10:00 AM - Meet at Salmon River Trailhead (45.2777937, -121.9397189) 1:00 PM - Caravan to Hood River for lunch and brews What to Bring: Water and trail snacks Weather-appropriate layers Good hiking shoes Dog bags & towels (if bringing your pup) Parking pass (NW Forest Pass required) Cash for lunch​/​drinks (optional) Note: This is a rain-or-shine event, so dress for the weather! We foster a body-positive, age-inclusive, and supportive environment. All paces welcomed and no one hikes alone. Group size limited to 12 to maintain a connected experience and minimize environmental impact.
